Craft Designs, Inc (CDI) has completed its second ISO 9001:2015/ AS9100D re-certification audit, which continues to demonstrate its commitment to the development and delivery of federal and commercial software solutions and services. Perry Johnson Registrars served as the external auditor of CDI processes and artifacts for the re-certification effort. This re-certification audit builds on the previous 2020 audit recertification, 2016 initial certification and annual surveillance audits, which were also completed by Perry Johnson Registrars.
The ISO9001:2015 standard defines the requirements for CDI’s quality management system (QMS) which includes: motivation and implication of top management, a strong customer focus, and a continuous approach to process improvement. These principles directly align with the processes and policies implemented across the entire CDI organization and are reflected in positive customer feedback and the high-quality products that are developed and delivered on a regular basis.
CDI specializes in process driven software development with bilateral traceability and independent verification and validation of airworthy software and flight safety critical applications. CDI has expertise in developing flight performance models (FPM), data loader applications, various embedded applications, mission planning systems, mobile applications, 3-dimensional visual rendering applications, and RTOS specific applications. CDI proudly applies the standards of ISO9001:2015/AS9100D:2016 in conjunction with its CMMI-DEV V2.0 Maturity Level 3 certification to develop, qualify and field mission essential/safety critical airworthy applications.
