Bob Jones High School Engineering Academy Update

CDI’s high school interns for the Fall 2018 semester recently completed their job assignments and provided a presentation to their peers providing insight to their workload, accomplishments, and growth over the semester. The 11-week internship simulates a real-work environment in which students are expected to work perform meaningful tasks with targeted deadlines and expectations. Students are integrated into the team and assigned a mentor who is responsible for providing job assignments as well as assisting the intern with personal and professional improvement throughout the semester. Partnerships like these generate an expanded interest in the students as they pursue their education goals and give them a framework for moving forward in life.
